Sheryl, how amazing this is! Do you mind if I remember your cage-less Parrot and your now calmer, I for Indian Corn idea, and copy them into my alphabet?
I too was wondering how to get around that....I am on D right now and will be making the Eagle on the bottom with Olive branches instead of arrows...

sure, as you can see I just copied the crow on his knee. Let's show the world a kinder and compassionate prairie schooler alphabet. Next up is H is for honey - well i am not going to stitch it as i am not a big fan of the exploitation of bees and the farming for honey. so i am thinking about doing h is for home or h is for hive. I am waiting on some prairie schooler pamphlets showing houses or bees/hives - stay tuned.....

I love your change. I think you will be copied by quite a few of us! ;-)
My "problem letter" for now is D. I need to find a completely different motive for it.
This is what I found so interesting in sewing all the different version there can be of a pattern. Thanks for sharing yours.
